When things become smaller..

One nice story to share..

Yesterday, I had spent almost 3 hours in OT ( opertation theatre ) room.We got one case of steroid-induced glaucoma to be operated.What a pity,bcoz of lack of knowledge,this patient who was initially sought treatment at pharmacy for steroid eye drop ( for his allergic conjunctivitis ),eventually end up with this unwanted complication of glaucoma.

The operation was done by Dr.Bakiah.She is one of the ophthalmologist specialist in HUSM.She ia a good teacher with excellent teaching.During her lecture, it is almost impossible for us to let our eyes closed,bcoz her explanation is realy attractive.

That was not the only 'beauty' of her.Another thing that realy touched my heart,that i think not all doctors may come out with the same way of thinking like her.Could you imagine,shabiah..
While her fingers was moving with needles and sutures,added by other high-tech instruments towards the patient's eye,she could voice out one statement that i hope i never forget the rest of my life..

" you see this suture,students ? how's the size of it? " she asked.

During that time,there were about 10 of us,surrounding her observing the operation.Actually we were not realy saw directly towards the patient's eye like other oiperation before.We learned via screen that was connected to the microscop that was being used by the doctors.There were two doctors there,with the help of one staff nurse.This what makes difference in ophthalmology,almost all the time u're dealing with microscopic picture,bcoz we know that the structures inside our eyes could not be seen only by naked eye.

" 10..Dr.The suture size is 10." Alhamdulillah,this time we got the answer.

Then she replied.

" So,could u imagine now,how tiny is it the 'Sirothol Mustaqim' ? now,u can see right,that it is not impossible for a thread to be cut smaller,even tiny like this one."

Subhanallah.That realy touched my heart.I could not answer even a word..
Now,i realized that knowledges realy can help us to know Him.Technologies has done much towards it.The rest depend on ourselves,whether we want to think or not.

Ketika aku mencelikkan dua mataku dengan melihat Baitul Haram

Dengan dua mataku, aku telah melihat sebutir permata yaqut daripada permata-permata delima Syurga..Dua bibirku telah kukucup hajarul Aswad…Dadaku telah aku sentuhkan (dapatkan) kepada multazam..
Ya RAHMAN,
Daripada sebaik air di dunia telah aku minum sehingga puas,Di atas bukit Shofa aku telah berhenti..Daripada sebaik tempat di dunia…
Ya RAHIM,
Mula hati-hati aku telah meletakkan mukaku di tempat An Nabiyyul Kareem telah meletakkan dua tapak kakinya yang mulia…
Atau aku telah meletakkan mukaku di tempat gugur air matanya ketika baginda s.a.w. sujud di sisi ka’bah..
Ya FATTAH,
Sungguhnya apa yang disaksikan atau dilihat dan di tempat berhenti atau berdiri tidak akan kulupakan selagi ada hayat itu..
Ya ROBBIL 'Aalamiin,
Cintaku kepada Mekah-MU tidak akan putus,
Kemuliaanku kepada Mekah-MUsentiasa berterusan selagi ruuh tidak sampai kepada halkum..
Mekah, sebuah nama yang ia di hatiku.Namun, pastinya AKU menaruh SEUTAMA Cintapada-MU, pemilik mutlak Albaitu al-Mu3azzamdi Makkatul Mukarramah yang kumaksudkan itu.WalLAHU 'alam bishowab..AlhamdulilLAH, syukran lilLAHI Ta'ala....
